Aims & Objectives


 

The aims of the Association are to: (a) Provide its members with information about the FCO and colleagues, serving and retired. (b) Promote opportunities for its members to meet and to network. (c) Explore opportunities for its members to make their experience more widely available, particularly to the FCO. (d) Negotiate benefits for its members (e) Work with the FCO on matters of interest to Association members. (f) Monitor conditions under which officers of the FCO are retired. (g) Liaise with the Diplomatic Service Families Association (DSFA) and independent groups of retirees on matters of mutual concern and complement each others’ activities. (h) Take an interest in the welfare of its members and identify any hardship cases which might be helped by FCO or Civil Service funds or by the Pimpernel Trust.
